The Battery, Image Lab, and turning a video into a course

  • The Battery replaces hearts. The free tier now gives you a full lesson every day on a battery that recharges overnight. A charge is spent when you start a lesson and you always get to finish it, so mistakes never cost you anything mid-lesson. Earn extra charges by completing the Daily Challenge or inviting a friend. Reviews, replays, the Daily Challenge and AI News quizzes never use a charge, and Iro Pro is unlimited.
  • Image Lab. A prompting playground in the Create tab: write a prompt, get an image, then iterate. Ask Iro can critique and improve your image prompts. Image Lab is part of Iro Pro, with up to 10 images a day.
  • Turn a video into a course. On Create-a-Path, paste a TikTok or YouTube link and Iro builds a full interactive learning path on that topic, lessons and exercises included.
  • More content. The library is now 25 learning paths, 433 lessons and 2,050+ exercises across 24 interactive exercise types.
  • Simpler pricing. Pro Annual is $49.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, about $4.17 a month. Pro Monthly is $9.99 a month with no trial. The annual plan saves 58% versus paying monthly.

Iro 3.0: the gamified AI fluency update

  • A full learning game: chunkier Duolingo-style lesson nodes on a clearer path map, with chests and rewards along the route. The core loop: pick a path, complete 5-minute lessons, practice prompts, earn XP and streaks, build your Operator profile, and unlock proof of progress.
  • Hearts: the free tier is paced by hearts, which refill over time. Iro Pro is unlimited lessons, so you can learn as fast as you want.
  • Learn / Train / Progress: the app is now three tabs: Learn (paths and lessons), Train (Prompt Lab, prompt practice, live duels), and Progress (Operator Build, stats, achievements, certificates).
  • Operator Build: a visible AI skill profile scored across prompting, tools, automation, creative AI, and work skills, with a power level and a clear "train this next" signal.
  • Website refreshed to match: stacked-phone app showcase, rank-quiz styling, the gold Iro Pro band, and updated machine-readable references (llms.txt, llms-full.txt, iro.json).

Custom Paths, Ask Iro voice, and the Iro web app

  • Custom Paths: type any topic and Iro generates a complete, structured learning path in seconds: 5 bite-sized lessons, a quiz, and a recap card. Not just AI — negotiation, guitar, fitness, cooking, anything. Path generation is a Pro feature. New landing section at tryiro.com/#custom-paths.
  • Ask Iro voice mode: the built-in AI coach now supports spoken conversations in addition to chat.
  • Iro web app: the learning experience now runs in any browser at app.tryiro.com; streak, XP, and progress sync with the iOS app on the same account.
  • Machine-readable references (llms.txt, llms-full.txt, iro.json) updated with the new features, corrected AI IQ test top rank (Diamond), and refreshed comparison guidance.
