Worth stating first, because it saves you time if we are the wrong fit.
- Not a classroom platform. There is no teacher dashboard, no rostering, no assignment flow and no LMS integration. If you need to assign, monitor and grade a class, a purpose-built school product will serve you better.
- Not a district purchase. Iro is sold as an individual subscription through the App Store. There is no site or volume licence at this time.
- Not for elementary. Iro is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. High school and up is the honest range.
- Not a computer science course. Iro teaches people to use AI well, not to build models. There is no coding requirement and no maths prerequisite.

Your own fluency
The most common educator use. Five minutes a day on prompting, verification and tool choice, so you are ahead of the questions your students are already asking. Every path is open free.
Older students, going further
A high school or university student who has finished your unit and wants to keep going has somewhere to go that is structured rather than a YouTube rabbit hole.
A starting-point measure
The free AI IQ test needs no account, so it works as an anonymous pre- and post-unit check that scores judgment rather than definitions.

These are free, need no account, and are written to be useful on their own. Link them, print them, adapt them — no attribution required.

How the free tier actually works
Not a limited trial. Every one of the 29 learning paths and 477 lessons is open on the free tier, with no credit card to start.
A daily Battery paces you to one new lesson a day and recharges overnight. Reviews, replays, the daily challenge and the weekly AI news quiz never consume a charge, and wrong answers cost nothing — you always finish a lesson you have started. Streaks, XP, the 16 ranks and earning certificates are all free.
Iro Pro removes the daily pacing and adds unlimited AI coaching, a prompt lab, an image lab, timed duels, custom learning paths on any topic, and claiming a certificate with your name on it. It is $49.99 a year — about $4.17 a month, with a 7-day free trial — or $9.99 a month. Subscriptions are managed through Apple.
Privacy, plainly
Iro is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. You can use the AI IQ test with no account at all, and start learning in the browser at app.tryiro.com without installing anything.
